In-House Trainings

In order to keep the Trainers of DFPF abreast with all the new concepts, philosophies and approaches in the field of drug abuse prevention, the DFPF brings together emerging and diversified groups of trainers, from international platform, who are engaged in providing training and education, The activities of the Network are conducted in line with its mission of enhancing the professional excellence of its members through meaningful development interventions by facilitating research, training and capacity building endeavors and sharing information, resources and expertise at national and international levels.

Internship Offers

DFPF offers flexible and individually tailored internship opportunities to students of master’s level. Our internship program has two objectives: to develop a core group of professionals who can effectively contribute in drug abuse prevention sectors and to familiarize and train the students for professional life. Past interns' responsibilities included:

• Research
a. Literature review
b. Proposal writing
c. Report writing
d. Data collection
e. Statistical analysis
f. Field work

• Formation of slogan and production of IEC
• Development of Documentaries and movies
• Establishing contacts with resource persons
• Development of songs against drugs
• Development of manuals
• Help in training workshops, seminars and conferences

Volunteers

DFPF welcomes volunteers to help with outreach to the public for a variety of ongoing projects. Volunteers assist with contacting individuals, groups, local communities, schools and colleges to encourage participation in activities such as those listed on our site.

Membership

DFPF offers two types of Membership i.e. Individual Membership and Organizational membership. The Individual Membership is further divided into two categories: Professional and Student Membership.

 
Individual Membership
1. Criteria for Professional Membership
• Directly involved in coordinating, designing, and conducting training.
• Relevant Experience for the past two years.
 
2. Criteria for Student Membership
• Student of B.A / BSc / Post Graduate.
• Interested in Drug abuse prevention related activities.
 
Organizational Membership
Criteria for Organizational Membership

• Should be a non- profit, apolitical, participatory development organization.
• Any donor organization facilitating and sponsoring participatory development initiatives/ programs or projects either local or provincial.
• National and international NGOs with training and capacity building being one of the key components.
